Adecco Staffing Agency
Following is my google review of Adecco Staffing Firm... Enjoy!
I'm going to try and make a compliment sandwich with this review:
First off, the woman who staffed me did get the pay that was initially offered from a whopping 14 an hour to 14.50. Good thing I don’t ever want to retire or own nice things. That’s about it for the first part of this review.
Though my resume or experience won’t necessarily land me in a CEO position right off the bat, the “assignment” I was given through Adecco could have been easily mastered by a retarded person. Not your normal coherent retarded person, more like the character Opie from Family Guy retarded. Like the person could do this work while simultaneously hammering a pencil into their brain, retarded. It was a paycheck though, so I bit the bullet and continued working with them.
While on “assignment” I was actually reprimanded quite condescendingly for taking a later lunch for helping someone finish their work. So putting off my lunch to meet a deadline actually got a negative response. This occurred in front of a large group of people and was quite embarrassing. When I called my staffing agent at Adecco to report the poor feedback I was pretty much told “go f*ck yourself.”
Being a temporary employee has no benefits, no health insurance, no paid sick days or holidays. So after a few days of calling off (WITHOUT PAY), two back to back because I had car problems both days, my staffing agent actually attempted to abruptly end my assignment citing attendance as the reason. Luckily my job performance was of such quality their client refused to accept an early termination of assignment and I was graced with the ability to continue on my path of sub mediocrity.
I am now in my last week. My assignment is over and I am scrambling to find future employment. I luckily have an interview scheduled shortly, but even when requesting time off for it I was again hassled.
I lied, there is nothing else good to say about the staffing agency. We are in hard times and everyone needs to do what they need to do to get by, but I would not highly recommend settling with this particular staffing agency. Unless you are looking to be treated like sh*t and placed in a job you are over qualified for, I strongly recommend seeking employment elsewhere, selling drugs, or killing yourself.
